The Banhine National Park is situated between the Limpopo and Changane rivers. There are plans to include it in The Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park
Banhine National Park
The Banhine National Park and Zinave National Park were originally proclaimed as hunting areas in 1969, but both were upgraded to National Park status in 1972. There is no real formal tourist infrastructure in the park yet, but with the plan to include it in the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, this is likely to change in the future.
