About Lalibela Lentaba Lodge
Lentaba, the "lodge on the hillside", is situated Lalibela Game Reserve in
the Eastern Cape, guaranteeing good game variety in a Malaria free area.
The main lodge is decorated in a traditional safari style and boasts a large
lounge, viewing deck and a sunny swimming pool . The
lodge sleeps 16 people in eight secluded thatched chalets with exclusive views
of the gardens and surrounding bush. Each chalet is en-suite and has its
own exclusive observation deck. The outdoor dining area is perfectly
situated in view of a nearby waterhole that is floodlit at night, here, guests
can enjoy the fine cuisine that has a large focus on local specialities.
Activities at Lentaba are mainly focused on the game with early moring and
sunset game drives. The diversity of the eco-system allows guest the
opportunity to view a wide variety of game species. ranging form elephant, rhino
and buffalo to hippo, giraffe, zebra, warthog and many species of antelope.
Escorted bush walks open up the intriguing world of the
smaller animals and plants found at Lalibela and offer an opportunity for bird
watching. Lentaba also runs night game drives.
