About Bataleur Camp
Kichwa Tembo Bataleur Camp is a classical luxury tented camp in a beautiful, forested setting on the northern boundary of the Masai Mara. In fact, it is situated just below the location where a famous scene from Out of Africa was filmed. This setting was also chosen to illustrate the motion picture's poster.
Each of the 9 spacious tents have large, four-poster beds as well as antique furniture and large en suite bathrooms. Every tent has a private veranda.
The main guest area has a comfortable lounge with fireplace and a reception area as well as a 13m, scenic swimming pool. The dining area and main veranda offer expansive views of the African bush.
The camp specialises in surprise bush banquets, served under the stars with delicious Pan-African cuisine.
