About Faru Faru River Lodge
p>
Faru Faru is a classic East African Safari Lodge. It is situated
in a prime location for game viewing, especially when the Migration passes
through the north western areas of the Serengeti. The suites, decorated in
colonial style, are built using local stone and rock and overlook the
Grumeti River. Each suite takes advantage of the magnificent view with
their huge picture windows and a sliding glass front wall. An infinity edge swimming pool, and large open
fronted lounge and dining area form the central part of the lodge, and there is
also a full bar, and health spa.
Game drives and walks can be enjoyed with professional guides whilst other
activities include archery, lawn croquet, mountain biking, equestrian pursuits,
and hot air ballooning.
While residing at Faru Faru one can also enjoy the use of their Equestrian
Centre. This is situated at the neighbouring Sasakwa Lodge, and is home to
sixteen horses.
